Panhard Motorsport USA, manufacturers and developers of prototype sports cars, have announced that they are planning for James Burke to be their race development driver.

James said:
“This is an exciting development both in terms of working with such a quality race car builder as Panhard Motorsport, and secondly for me as a driver as I chose sports car racing early in my racing career, so this is an opportunity of a lifetime to be involved with a manufacturer from the very start.
 
Panhard plan to build sports cars for the American market and then, when proven, their dream will be to campaign in the 2008-9 '24 hours of Le Mans' endurance race.

This is a dream come true for me, a once in a lifetime opportunity, one that will work from the top down as Andrew is extremely qualified and experienced so there is no reason why we will not go all the way.”
